Mastering LSN

Research

Taking the approach from Boomstick I've decided to do a little research on my opponent - LaserBurn.

LaserBurn (aka Stronium Dog). A quick internet search finds the name Laserburn on Wikipedia - quote 'LaserBurn is a set of wargaming or roleplaying game rules.' Early stuff before Warhammer 40000 (which I've dabbled in).
This info. is totally worthless other than getting a little insight into what makes him tick! :) Could be used for mind games later in the game if needed!

There's no such thing as useless information, but I'll agree that this comes pretty close!

Looking back over past emails, as far as I can tell I've never played Laserburn in any shape or form.

Next stop is to check his League status. I know he's Elite, now ranked 28th playing 74 games winning 39 and drawing 2 points total 1142. (for the record I'm Elite U/R playing 40 games and winning 26 points total 1091). A highly ranked Elite player, any wrong moves will be jumped upon I think! According to his forum info he's 106! He crazy.

This game will be a League game (+11 win for me!), and will either see me re-enter the league at around the 60th postion or see LaserBurn rise further up towards the top 20 :) So all to play for.

Alliance
An active player, playing for the 1st div. team 8-Bit Fanatics since its founding in season 3. Winning more than he's losing. Again, this info. leads me to believe Ive got one hell of a battle coming up.

A regular forum dweller with over 1120 posts.

LGA
The LGA is a great source for players tactics and use of the different races.
A search pulled up a few results.

Doesnt seem to like Greys. Looks like he prefers Marines (& nader heavy too). His in-game chat looks fun :)

With this infomation gathered Im putting myself down as the underdog, he's been around a lot longer than myself and has the experience.

Improvise, Adapt and Overcome.

This research stuff has been fun and I recommend anyone to give it a try.
Next step is to find out what map we're playing on. Now on to the deployment phaze!
