Announcing BookMooch Enhancer Version 1
I've just finished the initial version of my BookMooch Enhancer program. This program will add a button on every users Bio page that will allow you to send BookMooch points to that user.
It changes this:-
To this :-
This is very handy for people who run 2-for-1 deals and so have a lot of points to refund via the charity feature.
In order to use this program you will need a few things. Firstly you'll need to be running the Firefox web browser. If you do not have this browser (and you really should...) then click the banner below to go get it. If you already run Firefox then you can skip this section.
Once you have installed Firefox you will need to install a browser plugin called Greasemonkey. This will install the internet-super-magic that makes my program work. To download this click here:. Click the Download button on that page and it will begin the installation. Its a tiny program so it will only take a moment.
Once done you'll have to restart Firefox.
Finally you'll need to install my own program. To do this click here.:
You should see a small popup window asking for confirmation to install my script. Wait a few moments, then click the Install button.
Thats it, job done! Visit someones Bio page and you should see th enew Charity button next to the Full Inventory button.
Items for consideration for the next version:-
- Increase separation of Add to Inventory and Add To Wishlist buttons
- Allow available books to be directly wishlisted instead of having to Save-For-Later first
- Add URLS for browse full inventory

Thanks, this is a great little tool! I am SKingList on BookMooch by the way.
Am curious: which plugin are you using to allow email notifications of new comments? Is it TypeKey specific?

I use Mt-Notifier :- http://everitz.com/mt/notifier/index.php
It works really well. The early versions had a few problems but the recent version is the bees knees. (Small and hairy)
