An amazing story!
This news article from the BBC just beggars belief....
The conman had such control over the people he was working that he managed to persude one of them to sleep on a park bench and in airports, surviving on £1 a week. These were not vulnerable people, but people that were by all accounts 'normal', from supportive families and educated backgrounds.
The police described Robert Hendy-Freegard as the most accomplished liar they have ever encountered.
