I could do with some help - I have no end-game or openings, I seem to be all middle game - by then it can be too late! ;-) my biggest fault is not having a clue what the enemy will do next while being (it seems) so predictable in what I do that the enemy always knows where I will end up and is \"waiting\" for me there...

Hey there!

I was going to try to finish all of the campaign games before going human-to-human, but I\'m finding, as someone said on the forums, that the campaigns assume you know lots of little tricks.
So far I have an idea how to play all but greys, from the campaign missions. I\'m thinking I\'d like to specialize in Spawn, but I\'m not sure. So send me whatever kind of game you think might be helpful. Thanks.

Sorry, I seem to recall that LSN is case sensitive, so my name would be chiatt, not Chiatt ;)

Hey all! Been playing for a week or so now and would much appreciate some advice on how to defend against spawn and what on earth to do after the first \"rush\". Anyone fancy a marines/machina vs spawn match? (Am still new to the greys) Don\'t mind what FP or map..

Thanks!

Hi I\'m a beginner who just got the game a week or so ago. I\'m keen to learn and improve and a game against an instructor would undoubtedly of great benefit. Hopefully I would find out what i did wrong etc and where I could have improved on aspects of play. Thanks! I don\'t know what FP size is best for a beginner so whatever is best works for me. I don\'t mind what I or my opponent plays as, adds an element of surprise :)

Hello!

I\'m a newbie from Finland with just a few games under my belt, looking for some personal training in strategy and tactics. The idea of this Field Instructor system is brilliant. It is rare to find such a helpful community formed around a game.

I\'m still on my Free Trial, so it\'ll have to be Marines vs Marines. Any map which works with the Trial version is ok. I\'ve already had a few runs in Phaze and would like to try something different.

Looking forward to hear from my FI!

Hello! I'm a new player with the UK "boxed" version (version number 2) with the 3 months of free game BUT not registered. I haven't the trial account too because in the manual says there's no need and only it's necessary that the registered user kwons my e-mail (o_m_yen_or_es@hotmail.com).

Well, I'm looking for an iniciation game with a patient instructor who don't flagellate their "padawan" when a grenade explodes in his own lines :-D and who tells me if I need or not to register an account and how to do it.

Thank you very much and sorry for my some bad english (I'm spanish).

Hello again, FIs.

Two games as/vs Greys have shown I've much to learn on them. The games were fun, but I didn't really know what I was doing. I'd like training on playing vs Greys and playing as Greys. Most important to me is choosing the right squad, so please post suggestions here before deployment. Your choice of map, fps etc etc. A few games on the go would be great (various FIs=better) so that I can compare games. Thank-you. Brem.

Supercilious

Just got the demo a few days ago, intend to buy the game on Friday. I have a few veteran friends whom I would like to stand a chance against.

I play Marines (And since that is all the demo allows, I lucked out). My friends play all of the armies except for the Greys, whom they abhor (Not sure why, though). I however would not mind a game against any faction.

Anyways, I would very much appreciate a training match to try and up my Marine skills. Thank you!

Hi. I'd like to do as many maps as possible; FI's choice, both maps and race. The more variety, the better. Here's my progress so far, to help you decide what's best next:

1.Grind:Wipeout. Marines vs. Marines (SpaceDog)- 30fps. Lost 6:30.
2.Switchback:Wipeout. Spawn vs. Marines (Palerider)- 20fps. In progress.

Picking up on different FI styles or specialities would be great too.
Thanks.
