Ooops, I broke the Instructor Game form...

Sorry everyone, I managed to break the Request An Instructor game feature.

No-one emailed me to tell me, so I'm assuming no-one tried to request a game in the last few days...

If anyone did, but was too shy to piint out my error then please retry your request and it should go through ok now.

Move Complete

If you are seeing this then the server move has gone through ok.

If anyone requested an Instructor game and now finds it is not on the site then please re-post it.

Server Move

This site might be off-line for a few days while I shift hosting companies. It should be painless, but please let me know if things do not work afterwards....

I could do with some help - I have no end-game or openings, I seem to be all middle game - by then it can be too late! ;-) my biggest fault is not having a clue what the enemy will do next while being (it seems) so predictable in what I do that the enemy always knows where I will end up and is \"waiting\" for me there...

TOMU

I have been playing this game for almost 4 years now, I joined pre-grey, pre-spawn, so have seen it all. I am happy to admit that I was pretty poor at first, but learned the hard way. I have been in the top 10 for a couple of years now and recently reached the dizzying heights of 3rd place for a while.

My game play is very flexible and I can accomodate any scenario you wish to try (ok, I admit, I am starting to sound like a hooker). Basically, I am equally competent with all four races, have flexible hours, and am happy to help out some new blood... perhaps to avoid some of the many mistakes I made when starting out.

TOMU

Oddball

Hi im from the UK.

Oddball is my name and teaching you is my aim.

Been playing since the early years, never really got involved with the forums then but now realise I missed out on so much. I have seen many changes in this game some for the better. I took a 1 year break then came back to LSN. Not many games can hold that mantle. I enjoy the game more than analyze it these days like some other players, I feel spending hours over turns spoils the enjoyment. I prefer marines but can pass muster with the other races. if you play me and I don't chat its because I don't like you 8^) or your beating me badly. This game has many characters! some you might want to avoid..HERO BOY!!! is one. Sorry.

I have been in Elite league 50s down for as long as I can remember, but never play many league games these days, so many good tournys around to get involved in.

Hey there!

I was going to try to finish all of the campaign games before going human-to-human, but I\'m finding, as someone said on the forums, that the campaigns assume you know lots of little tricks.
So far I have an idea how to play all but greys, from the campaign missions. I\'m thinking I\'d like to specialize in Spawn, but I\'m not sure. So send me whatever kind of game you think might be helpful. Thanks.

New Instructor

A big welcome goes to Ugly Toy, the latest seasoned LSN verteran to volunteer to devote time to training newcomers.

Post your gaem request now, and who knows... you may be lucky enough to get to play him!

Ugly Toy

LSN Name: Ugly Toy

Location: York, UK

Available: I play most evenings, but I'd prefer longer games as I can't always finish short ones.

Races: I prefer Marines and Mechs, although I'm passable with Spawn. I don't mind Greys, I could use the practice.
Experience: I started playing around September 2003, so about 2 and a half years at this point. I worked my way into the Top 50 and made the Top 20 briefly. I'd like to help rejuvenate the community by adding some fresh blood, all comers welcome!

chiatt

SD sent me here ;)
I\'ve played two games so far, both have been wins, but really pitiful. I could use help!
Sorry, I seem to recall that LSN is case sensitive, so my name would be chiatt, not Chiatt ;)
