"I'm not intending to imply insult or judgment here but I am curious to know in order to be able to respond to your
posts in an appropriate manner, so please forgive what appears to be, but in fact is not intended as, an insulting question: Are you stupid?"
Playing the demoversion.
Bring it on ;)

Where have all the Runners gone?
Cuh! I dunno.... I go to all the trouble of recruiting the best of the best in Field Instructor talent around, begging, pleading (and in some extreme cases bribing) people to give away their trade secrets to the youth of LSN and what happens...?
No-one wants a game.
Either my spiffing chaps are doing too good a job, or you are all too busy beating each other on the battlefield to visit this site.
Get clicking on the Post A Challenge link above, get submitting game requests and our FI's will be along to claim their apprentice. Just don't forget to end each in-game message with "Yes, Master!"

Doctor Benway joins the team
We have a new Instructor in our midst. A big hello to Doctor Benway, a member of the lofty Elite division. You can read more about him here and new Runners should expect to receive games from him shortly!

Doctor Benway
I'm a game junky based in Essex in the UK, with a ridiculously large collection of games consoles and an unhealthy obsession with computer gaming. I've been playing LSN for many years (since just after the spawn were introduced) my most recent incarnation being Doctor Benway. The name comes from a character in the books of William Burroughs.
I've been in the LSN Elite league since I gained the requisite minimum number of games, my highest league position so far was 9th. I've been a World League division champion and my Specialist League team (Dead Things Walking) won the first season of the specialist league with me as their Spawn specialist. I still compete in the Specialist League, now as one of the top Machina specialists. I'm also a member of Grunt's On The Edge in the Alliance league.
I enjoy playing with and against all the races, I enjoy playing for fun and for competition. My playing style tends to be varied, I like to try new ideas every time I play and I like to catch people by suprise with unconventional and potentially suicidal tactics.

Hi again.
I'd like some instruction on Greys, please.
Spacedog - Please send another challenge for Marines when you're not too busy. Your choice spec. I'll try to give you a game this time, and not bugger it up in the first 2 turns again. :(

Mischief Maker
I just lost my first match (20fp) to a friend who says a machina force entirely made up of AIs can defeat a well balanced AI force any day. I screwed up by revealing my MT early. Can you show me how to defeat an AI herd using balanced forces, I play the herd?

Supercilious
Just got the demo a few days ago, intend to buy the game on Friday. I have a few veteran friends whom I would like to stand a chance against.
I play Marines (And since that is all the demo allows, I lucked out). My friends play all of the armies except for the Greys, whom they abhor (Not sure why, though). I however would not mind a game against any faction.
Anyways, I would very much appreciate a training match to try and up my Marine skills. Thank you!

Hello. I played LSN a while back, but eventually let my sub run out. I decided to come back and give it a real go this time.

Hi. I'd like to do as many maps as possible; FI's choice, both maps and race. The more variety, the better. Here's my progress so far, to help you decide what's best next:
1.Grind:Wipeout. Marines vs. Marines (SpaceDog)- 30fps. Lost 6:30.
2.Switchback:Wipeout. Spawn vs. Marines (Palerider)- 20fps. In progress.
Picking up on different FI styles or specialities would be great too.
Thanks.
