Relaxing Comments
I've decided to loosen the commenting restriction on this site. Now, unregistered commenters will get their comments listed immediately, they will no longer be moderated until I approve them. I want to make it easier for people to comment on our FI's and to chat with them about games you might be playing at the moment.
I have set up some anti-spam scripts so if any of those nasty spammers get hold of the site I can deal with most of it automatically.
Of course, it's still better to get a free Typekey account but if you don't fancy that then you can now comment without restriction. You will still need to enter an email address, but it will not be displayed on the site.

thegoblin
Now here is a player I expected to sign up straight away :)
account: thegoblin
bio: ummm... i'm not that good at this, but hey... whatever, i've been playing LSN for about 2 years, and am still having a lot of fun with it. I'm captain of Phoenix Rising (alliance team) and The Desert Rats (specialist league). I also play BfE and MeTL (ask if
you want to know more) hmmmmm...
What else to say. I'm on the east coast (USA) in new hampshire, so my time zone is GMT -5, I play a lot, weekdays from 3:00-10:00
PM, and Saturday mornings 9:00AM-12:00PM (noon that is) and all day sundays.

Eagle Of Fire
Here is another FI hoping to help out those adept in Frech:-
I am from Québec Canada and would be willing to do FI for French speaking persons. I'd prefer Québec persons but French is French and I could help France people too without problem even tough I might encounter a few cases of strange crossover words hard to understand.
I have a good win% ratio record in the league and I am currently retired after getting around 50-60ish in the Elite league. Started playing again for fun in friendlies a few weeks ago and I am still active in the Specialist League after winning the first place with my team, the Dead Things Walking. A very nice team if you ask me.
My best race is Machina and, because of recent intensive training, I beleive that my second best race is Marines. Followed very close by Greys and Spawn is my worse race tough I manage with them fine. I just don't have mastered all the finesse of that race yet and I lack experience with it, I guess.

REDLAN
Living and working in the South of England. I'm available to play most evenings and weekends. I'm usually able to put in a couple of turns a day.
Been subbed up to LSN for 6 months now, so I still remember what it's like to be a noob. Can play anything, but have a penchant for Greys, and getting to like Machina.
Currently sitting first in the Vets league, and beating all comers (bar one) so far. Come and learn to play the REDLAN way by sending a friendly to REDLAN.

Austrians, Germans or german speakers in other countries, step up!
I have no regular time scheme, but play nearly every day for some time.
# Location - Bonn, Germany
# Language - German, English
# Favorite races - Greys, Machina
# Available to play - irregular, but without too big breaks

Deestan
Here is what Deestan has to say about himself:-
Name in the Game: Deestan.
Mathematician and programmer. GMT+1, Norway. Usually play evenings and mornings.
Good at Machina, bad at Marines, awful at Spawn, laughable at Greys. Prefer Machina. :-]

SpaceDog
SpaceDog is our first US based LSNer to volunteer as an unofficial FI.
Here is what he has to say about himself:-
I'm on the east coast U.S. Fairly flexible schedule. Like helping out new players. Would like to see the community grow again.
Races preferred are marines and mechs but I'm reasonable with the others, too. Top 50 elite (formerly Top 10 but being much more casual now. At least, that's my excuse. hehe).
Send your challenges to LSN Playername 'SpaceDog'

Robmonster
Hi there!
I've been playing Laser Squad Nemesis for over a year now, and have had my fair share of defeats and victories. Ok, perhaps more than my fair share of defeats.....
I used to be an official Field Instructor when the scheme was running. I don’t have any real race preference, although I do enjoy using the unique tralents of the Greys.
I'll do my best to get a few turns in a day, although there might be a few gaps where Real Life encroaches on my time. I'm usually available in the evenings, UK time.
If you fancy having a FI game with me then send a challenge to 'Robmonster'

Diceman
Diceman is the first person to volunteer to help out new LSN players.
If you want to ask him for a Field Instructor game then send a challenge to 'diceman'
(Note the lack of a capital 'd' . Case is important when trying to challenge players.
Diceman has added the following information about himself:-

Calling all FI's!!
If you feel you have what it takes to be listed as a Field Instructor for Laser Squad Nemesis then drop me a line. Include a short description of yourself, and details of your timezone and languages and I'll get you listed here. Dont forget to tell me what your LSN name is if it isnt painfully obvious. (In fact its probably best to tell me even if it is painfully obvious....)
Please note that this is all totally unofficial, but I really miss the FI system and wanted to do something that would help new LSN players learn their craft. It helped me when I was starting out, and I like to think that I helped other new players during my stint as an official FI. This is my way of carrying on that tradition.
