Random Flickr Goodness
Got a few minutes to kill, and appreciate a good photo? You could do much worse than visit the Random Photo Browser
It finds a random Flickr user and then shows you a selection of pictures that person has marked as a favourite. I dare say that a lot of the pics I post to the Flickr Category will be found this way. People mark pictures as favourites for lots of different reasons, but the vast majority I've seen there so far are good pics.
If you find a good picture this way, leave me a comment about it!
- Update * - While browsing around I found FlickrRandom . This does the same thing, except the picture doesnt have to be marked as a favourite. you get the good with the bad, but you can find some previously unseen pics.

This picure caught my eye on Flickr today. A very clever shot. I wonder how many attempts were made before they got it just right....?

The lonely guy (over the umbrella)
I've just discovered this chap on Flickr. He has done some remarkable pictures...
I'm sure they have had more than a little Photoshop editing, but I'm not bothered by that at all (it would appear that a lot of Flickrites are....)

Infinite Flickr
You've probably seen things similar to this before, especially if you've ever decided to look into a mirror while wearing reflective shades....
This is a funky little movie that links a series of images originally posted into the Infinite Flickr group at, well.. Flickr . Worth a quick gander. It reminds me of the section in Bladerunner where Harrison Ford zooms into a photo over and over again.

22 week scan of our little-un. We found out that bump is going to be a girl! Now Em and I get to fight over girls names.
You'll probably want to click on through to view the pic at Flickr, as there are some nice notes which make the image clearer.
There are also a number of other shots to check out.

Flickr Montager
This is a rather cool piece of coding. You give it a search term, it finds relvant Flickr pics and creates one of those Photo Mosaic style pictures.
The results are variable as the level of details in the final montage is fairly low but its a clever piece of coding none-the-less.

My Little-Un
This is the first scan of my future insomnia inducer.
We went along yesterday for the 12 week scan and I was amazed at the clarify of the pictures on screen. It loses a little something in the translation from screen to printed image to scanned jpg but its still remarkably clear.
The little blighter was fast asleep, so Em had to give a little wiggle to wake it up. It didnt seem best pleased and soon was fast asleep again. Takes after me!
Hopefully the long sleep sessons will continue after the birth...
You can click the pic for a larger annotated view.
